Worn-Out Deck Gets a Fresh Coat and New Life

A faded, worn-down deck does a lot of damage to an otherwise great backyard. It pulls the eye away from everything you've worked hard to build out there - the garden beds, the landscaping, the whole outdoor setup. That's exactly what we were looking at here before Garrett got to work.

We were already on site handling the landscape work when it became clear the deck needed attention too. The boards were dull, uneven in color, and had that tired look that comes from years of weather and foot traffic. Rather than leave it that way, we took care of it right then and there.

The repaint brought everything back to life. A clean, warm wood tone now runs board to board across the full deck surface - including the bridge section that connects over to the pond area. The railings, the steps, the whole thing matches up. It's one of those jobs where the yard looks completely different once the deck is cleaned up, even though nothing else changed.

This is something we run into a lot. Homeowners put real effort into their landscaping, their garden features, their outdoor furniture - and then a grayed-out or peeling deck undercuts all of it. Handling deck repair and repainting alongside our landscape work just makes sense. One visit, everything looking sharp at the same time.
