A yard should do two things - look good and hold up over time. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every job, whether we're setting pavers or planting out a full bed of flowering shrubs.

The planting side of this work is one of our favorites. Hydrangeas like these are workhorses - they bloom hard, they fill space well, and they give you color across multiple seasons. When you pair them with layered plantings in a clean mulched bed, the whole yard takes on a finished, intentional feel. It stops looking like a yard and starts looking like a landscape.

The hardscaping piece is just as important. A paver walkway isn't just decorative - it solves real problems. It gives people a clear, stable path. It keeps foot traffic off the lawn. And when it's built right, with a proper gravel base and tight joints, it lasts for years without shifting or settling. We take the time to do the base work correctly because that's what separates a walkway that looks good on day one from one that still looks good five years from now.

When planting and hardscaping work together, the result is something that feels cohesive - not like two separate things bolted onto a yard. The pavers frame the beds. The beds soften the pavers. Everything has a place and a purpose.

That's the kind of outdoor space we love building. Welcoming, durable, and designed so it actually works for the people living there.
